We will end the half term by looking at 'The Raven' by Edgar Allen Poe.

This half term we will be focusing on using our times tables knowledge to improve speed and accuracy across the Maths curriculum.

As Year 6s, we will be getting to grips with long multiplication, looking deeper into fractions, percentages and decimals and will be exploring algebra, scaling and ratio.

We have begun the new year by reflecting on the school values and how these link to the values shared in the Kingdom of God. We will continue to explore the Kingdom of God and how these values can be shared in our every day lives.

In science, year 6 will begin by exploring the Circulatory System. We will be looking at the work of Charles Drew and investigating the effects substances such as tobacco and the benefits of exercise for our heart and lungs.
